Chris Bryant
Biography
Chris Bryant, a Chicago native and Simeon Career Academy alum, was a student-athlete on the Michigan football team from 2011 - 2015. Due to a set of injuries during his career at Michigan, he had to hang up the cleats and medically retire from the game of football.
Bryant finished his undergraduate degree from Michigan and received his master’s degree from Michigan in Management in Health with a focus in mental health in sports. After working as a recruiting intern, he was hired full-time as the Director of High School Relations to help with recruiting and relationship-building connections. Upon finding his passion for helping young men develop and prepare for life after football during their time at Michigan, he was promoted to the team's first Director of Player Development.
In this role as Director of Player Development, Chris has been a key piece in helping the players navigate through these new times of college football. Chris prepares players for life off the field by focusing the program on financial literacy, stress management, community service, networking events, internship opportunities, and career planning.
